Hello hello,
I’m back! I got to spend a lovely weekend in Vermont celebrating a wedding two weekends ago. Vermont? Extremely adorable! I went into what was quite possibly the most chaotic bookstore I’ve ever experienced. However, everything closed at 10 pm. At least in Boston we get a few more hours.
Much of my past week was spent rewatching Teen Wolf, the 2011 supernatural teen drama series where nothing makes sense but that doesn’t matter. The vibes are so good. I love this show.
Okay, onto the next week.
Everyone please watch this very classic noir-style show starring Ethan Hawke. He’s a real treat! Also support Indigenous creator Sterlin Harjo, who is coming off of his epic run with Reservation Dogs (truly a crime this show was never nominated for an Emmy it was sooooo good).
Absolutely loved this documentary short about a group of men in a maximum security prison who choose to make quilts for children in foster care or with disabilities. These are men who are serving life in prison but are given special permission to work for 40 hours a week fulfilling requests for quilts from these kids. It’s beautiful.
I’ve been listening to Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party nonstop since last week. It’s sooo good. I mean??? Glum! Parachutes! Kill Me! Love Me Different! True Believer! I can’t pick a favorite.
