Hi there,
It’s Monday again. Can you believe it? Too much is happening every day, it’s unfair that we have to work. I need all my time to enjoy a blissfully untroubled summer. No responsibilities! Staying up too late! Staying in bed too long! Eating way too much fresh mozzarella and tomatoes! It’s not really summer until you’ve had a real, homegrown tomato. Tis the season!
I love to have a silly sitcom running in the background when I do things around the house. After finishing my Girls5Eva rewatch, I needed a new obsession. Luckily, Netflix has Upper Middle Bogan, an Australian sitcom about a woman who learns she was adopted and reconnects with her biological family. FYI: a bogan is basically a hillbilly. It’s very funny!
I’m feeling a bit mixed Lena Dunham’s new show. I’m not actually a fan of her type of humor. However, I love Megan Stalter (who was robbed of an Emmy nomination for her work on Hacks!). Stalter is sooo good in this show about an American moving to London. The show itself…doesn’t really work for me. Watch it and tell me what you think.
Shout-out to Katie for recommending this KDrama to me last week. It’s filling the void in my heart left by a very mid season of The Bear. The food is beautiful and fun! The characters are charming! Kang Ha-neul is best when he’s basically a loser with a heart of gold.
